These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Storist.me, including the mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Storist.me is licensed to you (the “End-User”) by Storist, located at 142 Linden Street, Sutherland, NSW, Australia (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Storist is not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

All content and materials available through the Service, including texts, lessons, audio, AI-generated content, designs, trademarks, and software, are owned by Storist or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

5. End User License Agreement

Your use of the software component of Storist.me is also governed by our End User License Agreement (EULA).

If there is any conflict between these Terms and the EULA, these Terms shall prevail unless explicitly stated otherwise.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the Service may require payment or a subscription.

By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Pricing, billing frequency, and renewal terms are disclosed before purchase
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date
  • Payments and refunds are processed by third-party platforms (such as Apple App Store or Google Play)
  • Refunds are subject to the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made

Storist does not control or guarantee refunds issued by third-party providers.

7. User Content

If you submit content through the Service (including text, voice input, answers, or feedback), you:

  • Retain ownership of your content
  • Grant Storist a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, and process the content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service

You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

8. AI Features

Storist may include AI-powered features designed for educational purposes.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated responses may be inaccurate or incomplete
  • AI content is provided for learning and informational purposes only
  • AI responses do not constitute professional, legal, or medical advice

You use AI features at your own discretion and risk.

9. Termination

Storist reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations accrued prior to termination.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

Storist makes no warranties or representations regarding the availability, reliability, or accuracy of the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

12. Changes to the Terms

Storist may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
